5 Solas Pipes is the work of American artisan pipe maker Jon Hawkins, a military veteran and pastor whose background brings a distinctive sense of purpose, tradition, and craftsmanship to his work.

Jon creates his pipes individually by hand, combining classic pipe-making influences with his own approach to shaping, proportion, finishing, and stem work. Rather than striving for the uniformity of factory production, each 5 Solas pipe develops its own character, with the grain and natural qualities of the briar helping influence the finished piece.

For Jon, pipe making is more than simply producing another pipe. His work reflects patience, attention to detail, and an appreciation for creating something by hand that can become a trusted companion for its owner for years to come.

The Republic pays tribute to the enduring experiment in ordered liberty begun in 1776 and secured through the wisdom of those who established a constitutional republic. It is a reminder that freedom flourishes only when upheld by conviction, responsibility, and character.

Crafted from beautifully grained Greek briar, The Republic features a crisp ivory-white Juma stem separated by a fine gold inlay, symbolizing the priceless ideals upon which our nation was founded. The clean lines and timeless proportions reflect a design that is elegant without excess—a pipe meant to be appreciated for generations.

Tracking information will be provided once your order is on its way. We take special care in packaging every pipe to ensure it arrives safely and ready to enjoy.

Return Policy

We want you to be pleased with your purchase. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the pipe remains unused, unsmoked, undamaged, and in the same condition in which it was received.

Pipes that have been smoked, altered, cleaned, or damaged after delivery cannot be returned. Buyers are responsible for return shipping unless the item received was incorrect or materially different from its description.
